"Polynucleotides" seem to be the new hype for young, firm skin. What's behind it?

Polynucleotides are a new generation of active ingredients in skin care and are currently conquering the beauty world. These innovative molecules, based on the building blocks of DNA and RNA, are extracted from fish roe, among other things, and have the potential to improve skin structure and elasticity and slow down skin ageing. Polynucleotides are applied as a cream or serum or injected directly into the skin for greater effectiveness.
